This is from a ProPath gym owner, who's now working fewer hours and making more money.

“A year ago, I was in a scarcity mindset.  We NEEDED more clients.  We didn’t need to demonstrate our value; we needed marketing.  Last year at this time, I was stressed about how we would be able to pay for ProPath and thought we needed to cancel.

This year we have 26 less clients than last January.  This year we are up 47% in revenue for January.  This year we are fulfilling on the promises we make to clients when they enroll.  This year, I am proud of our business.  We have had 5 referrals this month.

It’s amazing what can happen on a long enough timeline if you are consistent with your values.”

It’s easy to talk about “values” and “shifting your mindset” when you have plenty of members and abundant prospects.

It’s entirely different when your back is against the wall and you’re unsure if you can make ends meet.

There are three options when you find yourself in this situation; close up shop and go out of business, go back on your promises and operate outside of your values, or keep the promises you made and trust that bet will pay off.

This gym owner drew a line in the sand and didn’t cross it even though the payoff didn’t come overnight or even in a few months.

They weren’t looking for a get-rich-quick scheme; they wanted to build a business they could be proud of.

A gym their members would trust their friends and family members with.

Now that’s exactly what they have.
